Fee: Psychotherapy with Dr. Ettensohn is subject to availability and begins by completing a diagnostic assessment. If it is determined that it is a good fit and there is space in Dr. Ettensohn’s therapy practice, then psychotherapy is billed at $300 per 45-minute session.

Most psychological evaluations consist of a single interview and a set of self-report questionnaires. Our process is different. Unfolding over an average of 8 weeks, it integrates multiple clinical interviews, empirically validated personality measures, and in-depth interpretive analysis to understand you as a whole person rather than a collection of scores or symptoms.
The assessment goes beyond diagnosis to address the why and the how: why certain patterns formed, how they continue to shape your experience, and what they reveal about underlying needs and capacities. The result is a clear, integrative formulation and a comprehensive written report with individualized treatment recommendations.

Fee: Diagnostic assessment with Dr. Ettensohn is a 2–3 month process involving a multi-session diagnostic interview, empirically validated personality assessment, a comprehensive written report, and a feedback session. It is the required starting point for individuals seeking psychotherapy with Dr. Ettensohn. The assessment is billed at a flat rate of $3,800, paid in installments throughout the assessment process.

Fee: Coaching and consultation are offered as a series of up to three sessions, with the option of ongoing monthly meetings pending availability. This service is available both for loved ones of someone with pathological narcissism or NPD and for individuals who feel they personally struggle with narcissism.
There is no commitment to use all three sessions. Coaching and consultation are billed at $350 per 45-minute session.
