Psychotherapy
Our Philosophy
Psychotherapy at Heal NPD is designed for individuals seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. Our work focuses on the emotional and relational patterns that shape personality and identity, particularly the protective strategies that once served to preserve the self but now create distance, shame, or disconnection.
Treatment is grounded in contemporary psychodynamic and relational theory, emphasizing curiosity, emotional safety, and respect for the adaptive purpose of each defense. The goal is to help the person inside the armor feel safe enough to live more authentically and connect more deeply with others.
Therapy typically occurs once or twice per week, depending on individual needs. For those limited by time or financial constraints, biweekly sessions can also be arranged.
