Dr. Ettensohn offers coaching and consultation for individuals, partners, and family members located outside of his licensed states who are seeking greater clarity about narcissism and complex personality dynamics.
These services include Coaching and Consultation for loved ones of someone with pathological narcissism or NPD, as well as for individuals who feel they may personally struggle with narcissistic patterns. In addition, Dr. Ettensohn offers a Psychodynamic Personality Consultation, a structured process designed to help individuals gain a deeper understanding of their personality structure, emotional patterns, and relational dynamics.
These services focus on insight, education, and guidance rather than psychotherapy or mental health treatment.

Fee: Coaching and consultation are offered as a series of up to three sessions, with the option of ongoing monthly meetings pending availability. This service is available both for loved ones of someone with pathological narcissism or NPD and for individuals who feel they personally struggle with narcissism.
There is no commitment to use all three sessions. Coaching and consultation are billed at $350 per 45-minute session.

Fee: Psychodynamic Personality Consultation with Dr. Ettensohn is a structured process that typically unfolds over several weeks and involves multiple interview sessions, empirically informed personality questionnaires, and a feedback meeting. This service is designed to help individuals develop a deeper understanding of personality patterns, emotional functioning, and relational dynamics.
The consultation examines personality structure, defensive patterns, and recurring interpersonal themes using an integrated psychodynamic framework. While it draws on many of the same empirically informed questionnaires and clinical methods used in personality assessment, the results are presented as a psychodynamic formulation rather than a formal diagnosis.
Psychodynamic Personality Consultation is billed at a flat rate of $1,850.
